Kakkanad is one of the fastest developing regions of the South. Infopark has become one of the most sought after locations by leading IT companies to set up development centers. Wipro, Tata Consultancy Services, Outsource Partners International, L&T are just few of the companies here. Wipro will be beginning its operations by as early as May 2007 at Infopark.

Smart City is another proposal that has instilled a lot of interest into Kakkanad. It’s a prestigious project capable of creating more than 100,000 high paying jobs. Considering all the developments a huge mismatch between supply & demand will exist. Hence the prices at Kakkanad can be expected to reach levels witnessed by IT Express Highway in Chennai, and Whitefield in Bangalore.
